Take Part in Salience’s Future
We're always looking for ways to improve care and expand treatment options. ONE-Z gives us an opportunity to explore how TMS may help people struggling with insomnia and use what we learn to help shape how we support patients with sleep difficulties in the future.
We're excited to offer this opportunity to our own Salience team and their families first. By taking part, you can explore an option for your own sleep challenges while helping us learn more about how we can better serve our patients.

Could ONE-Z Be Right for You?
If you or a close family member regularly struggles with falling asleep or staying asleep, we encourage you to reach out.
You may qualify if you:
- Experience ongoing difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep
- Have no other psychiatric or neurological diagnosis that may be contributing to your sleep difficulties
- Are not currently taking psychiatric medications
- Are not currently taking prescription sleep medications*
- Are not pregnant
- Meet the program's screening criteria for insomnia, depression, and anxiety
No current insomnia diagnosis? That's okay. An evaluation is included as part of the screening process.
Over-the-counter sleep products are okay and do not automatically prevent you from qualifying.
Not sure if you meet every requirement? Reach out anyway. Our team will help determine if ONE-Z may be right for you.
*Individuals currently taking prescription sleep medication may still be considered if they are able to complete the required three-week washout period under appropriate medical guidance.

WHAT IS TMS & HOW DOES IT WORK?
TMS works to strengthen the salience network, which regulates your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. When these brain networks aren't synchronized, your brain may have difficulty relaying information that can help you to "snap out of" negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
TMS is similar to physical therapy for physical rehabilitation. During your outpatient sessions, TMS therapy uses the concept of repetition to build strength and enhance communication to get your brain in the habit of sending signals on its own.
